Origin of the name “ZEXUS”
We are a chain business with over 100 years of history, continually evolving alongside the development of society. Since the company’s founding, we have continually released industry0pioneering products. With pride for our home country and manufacturing case, Japan (which can also be called Zipangu), we will continue to apply our unshakable passion for our work (Zeal) and cutting-edge chain technologies to linking people and society, creating a chain of connections (Nexus) and supporting two-way communication.

Beginning of ZEXUS CHAIN,”Tobata Casting Co., Ltd.”
In 1910, with the support of Kaoru Inoue, Yoshisuke Ayukawa founded Tobata Casting Co., Ltd. (currently, Proterial, Ltd.) in Tobata Town, Onga District, Fukuoka Prefecture (currently, Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu City).
The company began manufacturing malleable cast iron products. We were manufacturing the cast chains and sprockets that became the origin of our company business there.
